Open Ended Investment Companies

Open Ended Investment Companies (OEICs) are a popular way to invest in the stock market.

Our OEICs are managed by our experienced Public Equity team, who employ a unique ‘private equity style’ investment process.

We focus on proprietary research and rigorous due diligence so that we can understand the businesses in which we invest to the highest degree. We believe this can create value to generate attractive returns over the long term. Our Investment Committees provide independent oversight of this process, ensuring our investors’ interests are protected.

The Downing UK Micro-Cap Growth Fund, our award-winning flagship OEIC, aims to drive strong returns by focusing on a core portfolio of 25-30 companies with market capitalisations of under £150 million at the time of investment. Please note, this OEIC is closed to new investors.

The MI Downing Monthly Income Fund targets a high level of income and long-term capital growth by investing primarily in equities listed on a UK stock exchange.

We also manage the MI Downing Diversified Global Managers Fund, which combines different strategies into a portfolio with global exposure to improve diversification. It aims to drive medium to long-term capital growth on a medium-risk basis.

Please remember, the value of your investment and any income from it is not guaranteed and can go down as well as up. You may not get back the original amount you invested.
