London-based investment manager, Downing LLP, announces the promotion of Mark Gross to Partner for its development capital investment team with responsibility for expanding the company’s investment activities. 

Mark has over 14 years’ private equity experience having worked across a range of industry sectors including healthcare, hospitality and leisure. He joined Downing as Investment Director in June 2014 working across a number of sectors including leading its healthcare and hotel investment activities. Mark was previously Associate Director at UK mid-market private equity firm, Caird Capital LLP and prior to that, performed principal investment and leveraged finance roles at Bank of Scotland.
