Overview

Downing THREE VCT is a limited life VCT that focuses on asset-backed investments in order to seek capital preservation. The company has undertaken six fundraisings, each issuing a different class of shares.

The process of returning funds to C Share/A Share investors completed on 24 March 2016 and the C and A Shares were cancelled in April 2017. The process of returning funds to D Share/E Share investors completed on 22 December 2017 and the D and E Shares were cancelled in July 2018.

The process of realising investments to return funds to shareholders in respect of the F Shares, H Shares and J Shares is underway.

In line with it's "limited life" plans, on 30 March 2021, the Company commenced a solvent voluntary liquidation and appointed a liquidator in order to reduce running costs and reduce restrictions from the VCT regulations while the process of selling the remaining investments to return funds to shareholders is ongoing.
