Following positive interim results, Downing Renewables & Infrastructure Trust (DORE) is pleased to announce a capital raise to fund the acquisition of a strong pipeline of additional assets.

The DORE managers have identified a pipeline currently valued at £4.3bn, covering Hydro, Solar, Wind, Nordic Utilities and Essential Infrastructure. The capital raise will fund the acquisition of assets, and further diversify the portfolio, with the aim of increasing the stability of revenues and the consistency of income to shareholders.

DORE's assets under exclusivity total c. £87m of investment opportunity and include:

• 100 MW Lake Vanern (wind farm project) currently going through equipment procurement phase

• Two portfolios of run-of-river hydropower plants in central Sweden

• 30MW wind farm in Finland to be acquired when operational

Other near-term opportunities include further wind and solar assets in the UK and the Nordic region and an electricity distribution grid in Sweden.
