London-based investment manager Downing has appointed Tom Moore to lead its asset management capability. 

Prior to joining Downing, Tom was previously Director for Foresight Group, where he was responsible for overseeing a significant portfolio of renewable energy investments and also built a 30-strong team covering the sector.  

Efficient, proactive and intelligent asset management is key to protecting, and enhancing, investor returns. The continued investment and development of its in-house asset management capability further enables Downing to deliver exceptional service to its investors.  

Commenting on the appointment, Kostas Manolis, Head of Unquoted Investment at Downing, said: “Tom’s experience will allow Downing to develop self-reliant asset management, which in turn enables us to carry out even closer analysis of the companies we invest in and ultimately increase performance of these assets on behalf of our investors.
