Tvärforsen

Norsälven river, Gävleborg, Sweden

Tvärforsen is a run-of-river hydropower plant located on the Svågan river in the Hudiksvall municipality.

‍

Tvärforsen was commissioned in 1960 and has 10 dams that permit water storage and regulation. The plant is powered by one Francis turbine and has an annual production of 36.9 GWh.

This hydropower plant is located in Sweden's SE2 electricity market price zone.
